The Power of CLIP SKIP
All 5 images here use the **exact** same prompt, same seed, same subseed, same settings, model, LORAs, etc....EXCEPT the Clip Skip. This is to show you all how to use this to your advantage. I used a lengthy detailed prompt specifically to showcase this for you.
.
The first image is -1 and they continue all the way to -5. 2-5 are all good, but if you compare them to the prompt, you'll notice certain features sort of drop off as it goes alone.
.
Basically the lower setting (-1) is going to take your prompts very literal and can give you less than desirable results, whereas the higher setting (-5) will get more creative with your prompt, skip over some of the finer details, but create something loosely based on what you've input.
.
TL;DR – When to use which Clip Skip?
-1: Best for super precise, technical prompts. You want accuracy.
-2: Usually close to what you asked for, but might take a few things to literal.
-3: Good balance - keeps details but adds a little creativity.
-4: Getting further from your details, but allows more creative liberties.
-5: Great for artsy, loose, or dreamy images where details don't matter. Not ideal if you want the AI to follow your prompt super literally.
.
I hope this helps!!
